Kayla Adebajo has been practising for the past 10 years as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and Integrative Medicine Practitioner. She has over 20 years experience in health care, and is currently doing her PhD and doctorate in Integrative Medicine. Her areas of expertise include advanced training in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, aesthetic medicine, regenerative medicine, longevity and lifestyle medicine, detoxification, auto-immune disorders and lyme disease, natural mental health, and nutrigenomics.
Kayla’s vast experiences have enabled her to provide a wholistic approach incorporating preventative and integrative health services to her patient treatment plans. She also practices medical acupuncture and is knowledgeable in the use of holistic nutrition, nutritional supplements, and herbs to complement her practice in family medicine/primary care and integrative medicine. She employs vibrational medicine and body work, holistic nutrition, exercise, dance, yoga, meditation and stress reduction therapies in her personal and professional life. She has certification in IV nutritional vitamin and chelation therapies, and in providing PRP therapies to treat sexual dysfunctions (O-shot and P-shot priapism/PRP for erectile dysfunction) with the inventor Dr. Charles Runels.
Kayla also has a strong foundation in alternative health approaches and integrative medicine and continually attends medical conferences to keep her knowledge in Integrative Medicine/Functional Medicine up to date. She has undergone extensive training with ILADS, A4M, Empire Medical, Functional Medicine University, Institute of Functional Medicine, and Dr. Neal Rouzier’s World Link Medical Education. She is also a member of these organizations.
As a primary health care clinician, she has developed extensive experience in the areas of women’s health and sexual health, family medicine, cardiology, rheumatology, respiratory care, smoking cessation, and diabetes management. She has undergone many continuing education courses in the areas of Inflammatory Arthritis and Rheumatology, Dermatopathology, Diabetes Management, Public Health, and Asthma and COPD Management to be more effective in her role as a primary care clinician.
Kayla also has a strong dermatological background in both dermatopathological conditions and dermal aesthetics. She is a member of the National Association of Dermatological Nurse Practitioners and has been a medical director and trainer for top cosmetic clinics in Toronto providing aesthetic services, such as neuromodulator/toxin treatments, dermal fillers, sclerotherapy, and PRP treatments for hair restoration and facial rejuvenation.
