My name is Sean Kemp Waldie, your EL DOA instructor.

 

 

 At 33 years of age now, I find myself climbing trees and doing cartwheels. That wasn't always the case.

 

 

For the last 6 years, I've been working exclusively with other people to heal their back pain and improve their quality of life. Again, not always the case.

 

 

I have not had back pain in YEARS, but I used to suffer every minute of every day. 

 

 

Here's My Story

 

 

When I was 25 years old, I was partner in a growing technology firm.

 

 

With that came, as many of you can imagine, non stop work at a computer desk, glued to a screen, 7 days a week, 14 to 17 hours a day. All I did was focus on business development and nothing else.

 

 

After over 2 years of that 'grind', I decided I needed to get back into shape, so I started doing some push ups and sit ups at home. In the middle of an intense push up session, I sneezed. A harmless pitiful sneeze that sent terrorizing pain through my entire body.   

 

 

Can you believe that a routine home exercise could send me into surgery? 

 

 

It's almost as if I blinked my eyes for a moment and suddenly found myself surrounded by a bunch of surgeons telling me they need to do 6 surgeries over the next 2 years to fix my spine so that MAYBE I will stand and walk again.

 

 

Well, it was at that point I said, "I have got to find another way." 

 

 

And this is where the principles of functional medicine and alternative care, much like what VitalityMD advocates, came into play. 

 

 

What made my recovery so drastically different than what my 'traditional' Dr’s and Surgeons had anticipated was ELDOA.

 

 

My physiotherapist knew about, and recommended, the method and immediately began a rigorous practice of what is, without question, one of the most challenging yet oddly safe exercise systems in existence.
